Pakistan, Afghanistan and the North East of India are often in the headlines for the wrong reasons so it may seem strange to find a travel company that specialises in travel specifically to these countries.

But, that is exactly what we do.

The North of Pakistan and Afghanistan are incredibly beautiful places and are rich in history both ancient and modern. The area has a remarkable Geography, that sees the Hindu Kush, the Karakorum, the Pamirs and the Himalayan mountain ranges collide. However, it is the interaction with the people of the regions we visit that, more often than not, are our guest's fondest memories.

Each year, we offer a small number of unique trips to these regions. They are individually designed to capture an area when it is at its best or to coincide with a cultural event that few people ever get an opportunity to see. Whether it is watching the worlds highest polo match in Pakistan or taking part in a pagan festival in the jungles straddling the Indian/Burmese border we will ensure that you get a very personal experience.

We don't believe in being bystanders either, we will ensure that you get to meet the people and the characters of the areas. In February James and Kausar will be heading to the Koh e Baba mountain range overlooking Bamian in Afghanistan to organise our Afghan ski trips for 2012. First up is a snowboard documentary team who will be shooting Afghanistan's first jumps and tricks film. We can't wait.
